This means that for every pad or kit you buy from Good4uproducts, one will be added to a kit for a young girl in Guatemala. New pads and pad kits will be added over the next few days and weeks. Then the donated pads will be given out in Guatemala in early 2012.

For those who don’t know, the “Cloth Nappy Hunt” is like an internet scavenger hunt.  You need to register (free) to join in the hunting, and then you look on the participating (sponsor) sites to find a little picture of a cloth nappy.

The hunt starts today (1st Sept) and runs all month.  You register at http://www.clothnappyhunt.com.

Why would you want to traipse all over the Internet looking for pictures of nappies?  because there are PRIZES to be won!  (and because some of the hunts can be really fun to do).  There is $10 000 in prizes up for grabs, including Three Grand Prizes worth approx $350 each and one Ultimate Grand Prize worth $500!

This Picanini pad is topped with super soft and stain resistant lagoon gelato minkee and an absorbent core of 2 layers bamboo/organic cotton fleece. This pad has a hidden waterproof but breathable layer of PUL and is backed with a yellow print with patchwork style stars. This pad has been overlocked with navy thread, wings finished with professional applied polyacetal snaps.  Measuring 22.5cm long, 15.5 wide with a snapped crotch width of 6.5cms.

We didn’t have many entries for this one, maybe I didn’t make the password obvious enough in the newsletter…  I was trying to be a bit clever, but I think it wasn’t obvious enough – it was “awesome”.

Regular AIO pad topped with purple bamboo velour and backed with quilters cotton. Has an inner core of two layers of super absorbent, antibacterial bamboo fleece down the middle attached to a layer of flannel and a hidden layer of waterproof PUL. The wings fasten with professionally applied plastic/resin snaps to hold them in place. Suitable for medium to heavy flow. Measures approx 24.5cm x 7.5 cm when folded.
